Step 1: Take the Samsung TV apart and disassemble it.

• When you place the diffuser over the LED light, you must make sure the legs are aligned with the holes.
• Apply some glue gently to the lenses now. Make sure they are positioned correctly again.
• Wait 30 minutes for the glue to dry properly (or wait for the glue’s recommended drying time).

 

NOTE: Other LED reflectors may fall off or become loose during the process. You should also glue them if that is the case.

• The TV can then be reassembled after the waiting period has ended.

 

Step 3: Reassemble the Samsung TV after it has been disassembled.

 

During the process of reassembly, it is important to be just as careful as during the process of disassembly. You must be careful not to damage the screen when placing it, since it is very delicate.

Essentially, the entire reassembly process reverses the disassembly process.

Fix #2 – Replace the entire backlight array or LED strips on your Samsung TV.

 

When the LED array is old and at the end of its shelf lifespan, the original bond can disintegrate over time. If that happens, reattaching the dislodged diffuser lenses won’t fix the problem permanently (though it may work temporarily in some cases).

It is also possible to see brown spots under the lenses, which indicates that the LED array has reached the end of its useful life.

It may be necessary for you to replace the entire backlight array if this is the case, which is a more permanent solution. This shouldn’t be the case if you haven’t used your TV for a long time, and the first fix should be enough if you haven’t used it for a long time.

Furthermore, if you use the wrong type of glue, the plastic lens might burn, resulting in white spots on your Samsung TV.

It is simply a matter of ordering the backlight array and replacing it as a whole for your TV model online. Unless there are other issues, this should extend the TV’s life by a few years.

Fix #3 – Fixing Samsung TVs with defective or hot pixels.

 

The hot pixel is a defective pixel that remains on constantly instead of cycling on and off. On recent Samsung Tizen OS smart TVs, this can result in the pixel appearing as a bright white dot.

A dead pixel looks like a small black dot on the screen when it’s actually stuck in the “off” position.

The following suggestions will help you fix hot pixels on your screen.

• It is possible for hot pixels to disappear on their own with time if you wait it out first.
• The process (if it works) may take some a while, but there is no precise timeframe. The stuck pixel can be removed with a damp cloth, rubber eraser, or rubber eraser with a soft point.
• To avoid triggering more stuck pixels on your screen, do not apply too much pressure to the pixel, or anywhere else on the screen. Don’t forget to turn on the TV while you do this.
