How To Program A Polaroid Universal Remote

One of the best universal remote brands out there is the Polaroid Universal Remote. With this universal remote, you can program it and use it to control different gadgets at once. So instead of switching between multiple remotes when you want to switch the volume on your TV and DVD player, you can use the Polaroid universal remote to do so. Most universal remote controls come with the ‘Code Search’ option.

Unfortunately, this function doesn’t come with the Polaroid remotes. This means that you have to program your Polaroid remote manually before you can use it on any device. Fortunately, the process of how to program a Polaroid universal remote is easy. You can get it done in minutes by following the steps listed below.

Step 1. Ensure you turn on the device you want to sync with the universal remote.
Step 2. Hold your Polaroid remote to face the device you want to program.
Step 3. Find the power-up button on the remote and press to suit the device you want to sync. For instance, if you want to sync a TV, Press the ‘TV’ key. For a DVD, press the ‘DVD’ option.


Step 4. You will find the ‘Set’ button at the top of the remote control. Hold down the button for several seconds until the tiny LED light on the remote blinks three times. After that, you release the ‘SET’ button.
Step 5. Press 9-9-1. If you get this right, the tiny LED light on top of the remote control will blink twice.

Step 6. After that, press the ‘1’ button if you want to program the remote to a TV. Press the ‘0’ if you want to program the remote to a satellite/Cable. Finally, if you want to program the remote to an Audio/VCR device, enter ‘2’.
Step 7. Find and press the ‘Power’ button on top of the remote. After that press, the ‘CH+’ on the remote a couple of times until the device you want to program turns off.


Step 8. Finally, press the ‘SET’ button again and hold it until the tiny LED light blinks twice again.
Voila. You have successfully programmed your Polaroid universal remote.
