Setting up your universal remote requires a remote control code before you can pair it with your TV, DVD player, DVD combo, and VCR. Here are the Daytron TV universal remote control codes you will need to pair your universal remote with your electronic devices.

 

HOW TO SET UP A UNIVERSAL REMOTE WITH DAYTRON TV:

The process of setting up a Universal remote control is fairly straightforward. There are three ways you can program your universal remote with Daytron TV, and I’ve provided the step-by-step instructions below.

 

DIRECT CODE PROGRAMMING METHOD

• Locate the model number on the label of the battery compartment after removing the battery cover and batteries.
• Power on the device (TV, CAB, VCR, etc.) that you want to sync with the remote.
• For a couple of seconds, press and hold the “Setup” button until the led light turns red.
• Click on the appropriate device button, such as “TV,” “DVD,” or “AUX.”
• The code can either be three digits or four digits.  If the code is accepted, the red LED light will turn off.
• Click the “POWER” button. The device will power off once you have finished programming it.

 

The following instructions will show you how to program your Universal Remote Control using remote codes to work with your DAYTRON TV (including LCD, LED and Plasma).

1. As a first step, power on your TV (or any other device you want to control).
2. When the indicator light flashes twice, keep pressing the TV (or device) button for 4 seconds. A indicator light will appear on your remote.
3. Enter one of the programming codes from the list 0004 0009 for your DAYTRON TV (including LCD, LED and Plasma). Press the number buttons to enter it. Once you enter each digit, the LED lights up. Upon entering the last digit of the code, the LED will flash twice, then turn off. 
4. Place the universal remote control on the device and press the POWER button. The device will turn off when the setup is done. Repeat the steps if the device doesn’t turn off.
