How To Program Wow Remote

The Wow remote also doubles as a Universal remote control. That means that you can program your Wow remote to both you Cable box, Audio box and TV and DVD player. You need the Wow universal remote codes to do this. This other post outlines the codes you need. Go through the post and copy out the code for your TV brand. After that, proceed with the steps in this post.  

How To Program Wow Remote To TV

Step 1. Ensure you switch on the TV you want to program.

Step 2. Hold your Wow universal remote close to your TV.

Step 3. You will see the keyboard A, B, C, D on your remote. Press the one that syncs with the device you wish to program. Since we are programming a TV here, you press A.

Step 4. Press the MUTE and OK buttons simultaneously for several minutes until the Power button blinks two times.

Step 5. Press in the codes you got from the other post using the number buttons on your remote.

Step 6. Press the Vol + button to test your remote control. If it works, you got the process right. If not, try another code.  

How To Program Wow Remote To Audio Device

Step 1. Ensure you switch on the Audio Device you want to program.

Step 2. Hold your Wow universal remote close to your Audio Device.

Step 3. You will see the keyboard A, B, C, D on your remote. Press the one that syncs with the device you wish to program. Since we are programming an Audio Device here, you press B.

Step 5. Press in the codes you got from the other post using the number buttons on your remote.

Step 6. Press the Power button to test your remote control. If it works, you got the process right. If not, try another code.  

Wow Universal Remote Not Working

If your Wow universal remote control is not working, it could be as a result of some minor issues. This session will point out issues that can make your universal remote to stop working and to fix it.

. Battery: If there is no battery in your universal remote or the battery is bad, it will not work. Check the battery box of your remote to ensure there the batteries are correctly fixed. Also, ensure that the batteries are not wet, because that is a sign of damage.

. Object: If there is an object obstructing your TV or device you want to program, your universal remote may not function well. Ensure you remove all objects and hold your remote close to the device you wish to program.
